Comprehensive benefit administration is handled in a team environment shared by your benefit consultant and account manager. To ensure that we deliver on our commitment to provide ongoing value as your benefits broker, you will be assigned to an account manager for your day-to-day benefit needs. Your benefit consultant and account manager work together to provide an environment of teamwork and shared accountability. These roles and responsibilities are designated as follows to ensure the best possible results for each client.
Benefit Consultant
- Consults with management to understand full benefit structure and objectives
- Provides alternative benefit plan and funding options
- Seeks multiple carrier bids and presents them in side by side proposal format
- Negotiates with carriers on client’s behalf when appropriate
- Reviews current plan and analyzes claims and usage trends on an ongoing basis
- Provides state of the art benchmarking tools and reports
- Manages annual review process 90-120 days prior to renewal
- Coordinates and conducts all enrollment/employee education meetings
- Provides employee feedback and concerns to management
Account Manager
- Manages employee claim resolution process with carrier
- Tracks eligibility, enrollment, and termination data
- Assists with benefit questions and plan options
- Coordinates all employee forms
- Documents and tracks all benefit activity
- Reconciles client billing
